Sorry for the delayed posting, but we were on vacation this past weekend. We hope to have a new strip posted by this weekend...with school though there are no promises! Just keep checking back and a new strip should be up in a few days.

Strip Number ONE!

Well, we didn't think we'd be getting one out this quickly, and though it may seem a bit amateurish, we're just happy we've started. Be sure to tell us what you think if you drop by!

A few of you (and how dare you...) might be wondering why the title of our strip is "don't panik" with a "k". Well, a few industrious geeks might recognize the phrase from a certain book by a man named... let's call him Luggless Maddams. In order to side-step any legal actions should someone ever notice our little doodles here, we've decided to just insert the "k" at the end and do away with the "c". They're overused anyway... arrogant curvy letter.

The title may change some day anyway, but we liked this one so much out of a few prospects we decided to sacrifice correct spelling for the notion of the phrase. So there you have it. The reason behind the wrongful "k".

Welcome to "don't panik"

Hello and welcome to a future home of greatness! Okay... maybe mediocrity. But whatever we do here, it'll at least be interesting.

We (Bill and Jo, that is) have been tooling around for quite a long time with the idea of a comic strip featuring ourselves, just for fun as something we could work creatively on together.

Well, this blog, at least for a brief moment in history, will be the place we share our creations with the world from. We've begun concepts of our base characters, and we'll likely post some of them later in the week (sketches and whatnot), so if you by chance stumble into this blog, and you like web-comics, keep us in mind and check up often.

The goal is to get at least 1 strip a week done once we get rolling, with the 1st one coming in the next week or so. Being newly married, we're doing this the old fashioned way of hand-drawing and inking, then scanning them in. But soon, with a little saving, we'll digitize the process with a Wacom Tablet and Photoshop. By that time we should be churning on all cylinders.

Sorry, I'm done rambling.

And now, we shall bid you adieu... at least temporarily.
